Create an inline block, similar to image block

I’m wondering if it’s possible to create an inline block, similar to the default image block, so that I can have text wrap around my custom block?

I’m wanting to create a callout block that takes up 50% of the content width, with the ability to align either left or right, and have the blog post text wrap around the block in the same way it would a left/right aligned image.

Is this possible?
