Converting a MySQL database structure to ACF

I have inherited a 2013 era website attached to an API which has a well constructed and normalized MySQL database. It seems like rebuilding the API with ACF custom field types would make sense. Is there some tool that can convert a MySQL database structure into the custom field types, or does it need to be done manually?

I have some experience with both Custom Post Types and ACF, but not at an expert level.
