I have a custom taxonomy attached to items in the media library called “media category”. One of these media categories is “transcript”.
I have been able to add custom fields to media by showing a field group if “Attachment” is “all”. However, I don’t want this field group to show for every media item. I would like to conditionally show this custom field group based on the selected media category.
For instance, if “transcripts” is selected as a media category, I want to show “speakers” as a custom field to list the speakers in the group.
Is this possible? It’s quite similar to the way you can conditionally show a field group on a post based on the selection of categories, but using attachment as the post type and a custom taxonomy instead of category.
