steps to reproduce a bug:
– Make repeater field with image field as sub_field.
– Set for image sub_field to “Return Value” as “Image Array”.
– Clone the repeater field
Once you clone the repeater field, image sub_field has same settings on back end (“Return Value” -> “Image Array”) but on front end always returns “Image ID”.
You need to change settings on cloned repeater sub_field (for “Return Value”, select anything but “Image Array”), save field group…..then change again settings on desired value (for “Return Value” select “Image Array”) and save field group in order to get correct value on front end.

Making gutenprogress with my new site. All done with the block editor. I don't like it, but I can make it work. (There's a lot in life like that.) HOWEVER, @wp_acf is letting me create custom blocks that do exactly what I need. That's a good thing.
