Advanced Custom Fields error

“When I update Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) to a version higher than 6.2.9, I encounter an error, and the site itself becomes inaccessible. If you have a solution, I would appreciate it if you could share it.

Error Message:
Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘string’ (T_STRING), expecting function (T_FUNCTION) or const (T_CONST) in {server_path}wp-content/plugins/advanced-custom-fields/src/Site_Health/Site_Health.php on line 23

PHP version: 8.1

Jumping to PHP version 8.3.8 fixed it for me.
