ACF puts both names and keys to meta table

Comparing to Metabox, it looks like that ACF adds both names and keys to the postmeta table. So, if I am using many custom fields, the postmeta table will be big quickly.

Is that making performance worse? I am still testing ACF, so, please correct me if I am wrong.

There should be no noticeable performance difference unless you’re using hundreds of fields.
