Hi,
I’ve just started working with Gutenberg, and I really like what you’ve done with ACF Blocks!
I was thinking that it would be awesome to be able add settings to built-in or other extended Gutenberg Blocks. I feel that the built-in blocks are missing the flexibility that I had in my setup prior Gutenberg, using Flexible Content and different layouts/blocks.
So being able to add flexibility to already existing blocks would be amazing, either under the “Advanced”-settings pane or even in custom accordions?
I totally agree! I think it is essential to be able to add ACF fields to existing blocks.
I strongly support this feature request 😀 It will complete the currently limited Gutenberg editor experience.
Totally agree as well! I’ve ran into several instances where I’ve needed to do this. Especially adding fields the new “Group Block”. Then you could really expand on advanced layouts.
I agree with this feature too. On the other hand, I am simply creating my own custom blocks like buttons etc (even though they exist in the core WP) using ACF Pro and adding the custom fields (like dropdowns etc) so that they match Bootstrap v5 class names.
This is out of scope ACF:
