After I import data for a custom post type (registred via theme, called ‘series’) using WP All Import plugin with speicial ACF addon, everything is fine and all custom fields for all posts get their value in the backend correctly, but the values do not show up on the frontend untill I manually press the blue wordpress Update button on each post which will take forever.
I use get_post_meta on the frontend to display the values.
This should not be required if you are using WPAI with the ACF add on. You should check with them on this issue. You might also want to see if you have other plugins that are interfering with the import. I’ve used WPAI to import ACF fields and I’ve never had an issue.
