ACF Checkbox options value list value added

I have a problem with an acf checkbox. I want to add a new value with a PHP script in the option list of this acf checkbox. How can I do this? Is this possible?

I can add new values to the acf checkbox, but I can’t access the list of predefined values in the acf checkbox settings and set a new entry there. Does anyone have any ideas?

I am grateful for any tips.
