A big flexible field in a repeater generates a huge number of lines in the HTML

Today each field of the “flexible” is accessible in the HTML DOM in a div “acfcloneindex”. Which in our case is already very big in the HTML DOM.
In our project we have a flexible in a repeater.
The repeater amplifies this phenomenon even more.

Is it possible to load the DOM of a “flexible” on demand (Ajax)?
AND/OR
Could a “flexible” in a repeater be present in the DOM only once?
