Any static data will work for the options-page add-on. If you don’t have a need for it, then I don’t think you should purchase it.
Static data such as a logo, or perhaps a facebook / twitter URL?
Maybe your home page is actually a blog archive, so you could create an options panel for just the ‘home page’ options? Such as hero image, hero text, etc…
