Hi @hube2, thanks for the reply! I’ll look into using clone fields while definitely submitting my idea as you suggested.
It did occur to me that conditional logic would be effected, though honestly, in layout setups like mine conditional logic is difficult to manage anyway – it’s difficult to find the field you want even if you’re looking for fields in the same layout.
Based on that (see the attached gif) I’d suggest the current state of the conditional logic UX may need to be rethought. Perhaps something like a two-column chooser UI where you first choose the layout you want to use, and then it shows you the fields within that layout.
