Thanks for your reply. I figures it out. I concentrated solely on the load_field code and not on the Options Page, which is mandatory.

For those struggling, add this to your functions.php

if( function_exists('acf_add_options_page') ) {
	
	acf_add_options_page();
	
}

and add your source data there.
