There are at least 2 plugins available to remove it and it hasn’t been added yet https://wordpress.org/plugins/search/Gutenberg/. I’ve been following it and it is not what I want or how I build sites. Most of the companies I work for have strict content layout rules and style guides and I’m not about to let a site editor willynilly play with page layout.
