You’re talking about image maps, which is what that other topic is talking about. No, there isn’t any way to do this in ACF. I don’t see many image maps any more. There are plugins for WP that will let you add image maps https://wordpress.org/plugins/tags/image-map and I’d go that route. Depending on the how these other plugins work you might be able to use some type of a relationship field to let users select an image map to use on a page after creating it, but I don’t know how any of them work.
