I’m afraid I can’t tell you when this new feature will be released either. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.
Regarding the keys question, one thing you should follow is that a group key should start with ‘group_’ while a field key should start with ‘field_’. You can read more about it in the group settings and the field settings.
