I recently used this tutorial – https://wp-dreams.com/articles/2013/06/adding-custom-fields-bbpress-topic-form/ – to have custom field inputs on the front end bbpress new topic form

I think this could be altered to work with ACF.

(Having used that tutorial I’m now stuck wanting a way to have the custom fields on the admin edit screen for bbpress posts, hence me arriving here at ACF :))
