I love this idea, now time has moved on since, is there any more development or tools to be able to do this? I too don’t want to have loads of meta boxes just to insert a few fields to products where there is already a perfectly good native Woo meta box.
I think in ACF it would be good to be able to Append or prepend fields to existing meta boxes that would be amazing
