Reply To: Get $post object in acf/load_field function when lazy loaded with AJAX

I am using add_filter('acf/load_field/name=supplier', [ $this, 'load_supplier_choices' ]); to render my select field choices.

See function below.

/**
 * @param $field
 * @return array
*/
public function load_provision_choices( $field ) {

    // global post
    global $post;

    var_dump($post);

    // return
    return $field;

}

However when I use Use AJAX to lazy load choices?, the AJAX response for my var_dump($post) returns null.

How can I get the current $post object` when lazy loading choices?
