Thanks, this is exactly what I ended up doing. I used WPvivid Backup to backup the database, and used FTP to move all the files into the production server. I then restored the wpvivid backup file after FTP uploads, there were a couple of FTP file permission errors initially but other than that, it is now working as intended.
