Option add on use cases?

  Hi guys,

  I should mention I’m fairly new to ACF and I fail to see the real advantage of the option add on.

  Are there any other use cases you could point apart from the global header ad example? I have purchase the add on as part of a package but don’t know what to use it for…

  Any static data will work for the options-page add-on. If you don’t have a need for it, then I don’t think you should purchase it.

  Static data such as a logo, or perhaps a facebook / twitter URL?
  Maybe your home page is actually a blog archive, so you could create an options panel for just the ‘home page’ options? Such as hero image, hero text, etc…
