I tend to use the ACF date picker field a lot, but I’ve found this field to be awkward when I want to set the date as recurring (To set the date for an event that happens once every year, for example). ACF allows you to set both the display and return format, but the javascript date picker component will always display a selectable year, which is likely to needlessly confuse backend users for this use case.
Would it be possible to hide the year input if the display format is set to exclude it? (if the display format is set to ‘MM/DD’, for example).
I’m not sure whether this is best described as a bug, feature request, or support question (Maybe there is a better way to achieve this use case). Either way, I’d appreciate your insight here.
