Fatal error calling acf_register_form() in backend

  • Hiya.
    We are recently experiencing strange issues when opening the backend, getting this error:
    PHP Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function acf_register_form() in /home/gain/public_html/wp-content/themes/x-child/functions.php:86
    Stack trace:
    #0 /home/gain/public_html/wp-settings.php(424): include()
    #1 /home/gain/public_html/wp-config.php(96): require_once(‘/home/gain/publ…’)
    #2 /home/gain/public_html/wp-load.php(37): require_once(‘/home/gain/publ…’)
    #3 /home/gain/public_html/wp-admin/admin-ajax.php(22): require_once(‘/home/gain/publ…’)
    #4 {main}
    It is not occuring when opening the site itself and I have _no_ idea what I might have changed that could cause this.
    Anyone ever experienced this and having an idea where that could come from?
    The error in causing trouble with another plugin (WP Staging pro), so I can’t just let it be (while neither the site not ACF are badly influenced by it).
    Thanks!
