Hi,
I created a custom taxonomy, and forgot to enable the option “save terms” so that when you add a taxonomy to a post, that post will be saved to that taxonomy as well.
Now I’m building a custom search and I need the terms to be saved. So I enabled this option, but now it only works if I resave the posts.
So I build a function that uses the save_posts hook, but that doesn’t do the trick. But when I manually edit the post and save it, it works just fine.
I searched for an hour and can’t find an easy solution, but I’m sure I’m not the only one with this problem.
Is there someone how can help me with this?
