Submitted values as taxonomy terms after submit

  First off, I’m pretty sure there is already a forum post answering this and I’m just searching for the wrong terms.

  Simple situation: I want to use field buttons but you can’t currently use that with taxonomy terms, so I’m replicating the taxonomy terms as choices for those fields.

  But then I want the selected choice to be read as the taxonomy term once the user submits. I’m sure “choices to taxonomy terms” has already been addressed here, if someone has a link.
