I have custom fields in Users. I don’t want them to appear when a user is trying to register. The custom fields I created are located in “User Roles”. Do I need to change it so it only appears in Users only?
I believe you can add the “User Form >> is equal to >> Add / Edit” rule, so the custom fields will only show up on the backend.
I hope this helps 🙂
That’s weird. Could you please share the JSON or XML export file of your field group so I can test it out on my end?
Thanks 🙂
You can get the export file from “Custom Fields > Tools” (PRO version) or “Custom Fields > Export” (free version).
Also, please attach the file to the reply instead of copy/pasting it in the replay.
Thanks 🙂
Thanks for sharing the export file. Could you please add the “User Form >> is equal to >> Add / Edit” rule by using the “and” button? I’ve attached a screenshot for your reference.
Thanks 🙂
This worked. Thanks! I don’t know what I did. I meant to say your post solved my question but it somehow picked mine…
Sigh, I can’t even undo it, do you know how to fix it? I’d like to mark yours as the solution.
Don’t worry about it. I’m just glad that I could help 🙂
Thanks!
