How to Build JQuery Swappable Images via Repeater Fields?

  • I’m creating a product catalog for a client and each product in this catalog will come in a variety of colors. Ideally, these colors will be listed in a pulldown menu, and selecting the appropriate color option from that menu would swap the image via javascript/JQuery. It’s really nothing different than you’d see on any e-commerce type site and would look a lot like the enclosed image.

All that said, is there a sane way to build this via ACF? I know I can use repeater fields to store the images, and I can even create a text field associated with that group to “name” the images, but how would I trigger the display of the image when the value for the image is stored in a separate field?

Is there any good documentation on this?
