Gutenberg and Vanishing Relationship Field

  I’ve a field group with an acf Relationship field (acf pro 5.8.7) on a machine which I had upgraded to gutenberg. And, there, for that field, the page’s corresponding

  <div class="acf-input"> (which I see in view source on the page)

  is changed to

  <div class="acf-input" style="display: none;"> (which I see when I inspect the DOM)

  So I need to track down what’s doing that.

  But I haven’t found anything site-specific which I recognize which would do this. So I need to ask: Does this happen for anyone else?

  (And/or has anyone else run into this issue in some context?)
