Hi @jmb
Perhaps your JS is cached? Can you attempt a hard refresh on the page to make sure the new JS is being used?
Thanks
E
It’s all working correctly for me on my local instal. Any chance you can provide login details and I can take a look at your instal?
Thanks
E
Hey Elliot,
Your fix works at my website, in a browser without caching.
Though now on one condition the first tab is not activated when it’s showed.
It’s a step in the right direction.
Thanks for the follow up. It is possible that because the github version is the same ‘version’ (4.3.4) as the WP one, the nw JS file is not being used because it was cached.
Please make sure you perform a hard refresh to ensure the new JS is run and let me know if that solves the issue.
Thanks
E
It has solved the issue for me. No more bouncing.
However, a new problem has appeared. The first dropdown box in my second tab will cause the fields below to hide until I click the tab again. This didn’t happen before.
Hi @Vikestart
Can you please export your field group to XML, zip it and attach the zip to a comment below?
That way, I can test your exact field setup and fix this issue.
Thanks
E
Hi @Vikestart
I have imported your field group, but can’t see the issue reported. The steps I have taken are:
1. Change field Is this a regular mission guide?
to ‘yes’
2. Click on tab 2 (Basic Information)
3. Change field Mission Type
and no difference occurs
Thanks
E
@elliot Strange, happens here all the time, both in Chrome and Firefox. It’s only the field Mission Type
that causes this; no other fields do this.
Hi @Vikestart
Thanks for the follow up. I have just pushed another update to github including some improved JS for conditional_logic and tabs.
I am still unable to replictae your issue, so you could please use screencast to record the issue? You can post a link here, and I’ll take a look.
Also, please feel free to try out the latest JS from github. It may help to fix the issue.
Thanks
E
great news! I have found and fixed (fingers crossed it works for you too) the issue regarding tabs switching with conditional logic.
Please update to the latest JS on github, and let me know how you go! You might need to do a hard refresh to make sure the new JS is loaded.
Cheers
E
@elliot The new version on Github fixes the issue. The field Mission Type
no longer causes the fields below to hide.
The tabs are also still not bouncing, which means the issue really has been resolved! 🙂 Everything works perfectly now
I confirm – worked for me! Thanks @elliot!
Keep up doing great work!
