I'll look into it. Can you check that the FIRST field group on the page / post has the "hide content editor" option ticked?
The ordering of field groups has been fixed in 3.3.9 so this might be the reason. -
Yes, that seems to be the trouble. The first field group on the page hasn't the "hide content editor" option ticked. Ticking is does hide the content.
Changing the order of the fields, by moving the group with the hide content ticked, to the first place above the other ones solved the problem.
