Taxonomy-rules ignored until toggling the taxonomy
-
Hello,
In the latest version of ACF (3.5.7.1) I've got a new bug, which is quite simple to reproduce:
* Add a new category for posts (or use an existing or any other taxonomy) - I'll call my category "ACF bug".
* Add a new ACF "Custom Field group".
* Set the rule "Taxonomy" » "Is equal to" » "ACF Bug".
* Edit a post which has the "ACF Bug" category/taxonomy.
Initially the associated ACF fields are hidden (wrong!), but when toggling the category off and then on again, the fields appear (how it should've looked from the start!).
I've done the above steps on a clean WordPress a few minutes ago with only installed plugin being ACF. Screenshots attached with notes.
A couple of versions ago this bug was not present.
Btw, thanks for an otherwise great product :-)
Kind regards,
Morten Skyt

Hi,
I've download the latest version (link "nightly", seems to be the same than stable by the way), and I still have the issue :/

Hi @HDreadyGraphic,
Thanks for the bug report. I've just tried again to replicate this issue but can't. The field group's are appearing fine. Is there any chance you could provide a login for your site for me to view?
Cheers

Hi,
no sorry but I think I have mistaken this issue with another one. In fact the rule "Taxonomy" seems to be the same than "Category". So I used the category rule. I seen in the to-do list that the custom post template will be integrated, that's what I was looking for in the first place, but categories will be fine this time (even if it's not the best solution because of the permalink).
Cheers
Greg
